About Dr. Tanner A. Seago
Tanner A. Seago, D.M.D., is a central Ohio native who earned his Bachelor of Science in biology from Georgetown University. His Doctor of Dental Medicine Degree from the Erie-based LECOM School of Dental Medicine. He has been recognized for his outstanding commitment to service.
Tanner is delighted to return to the Buckeye state, settle into a new home at Complete Smiles Family Dentistry after taking over Scurlock Dental Care and Welcoming Dr. John Schwamburger’s Patients—contributing to a community much like the one that shaped him.
With a high priority on continuing education, Tanner is working towards Fellowship status in the Academy of General Dentistry. He is committed to helping his patients achieve optimal health through a comprehensive approach to care, and consistently motivated by a personal mission to effect positive change. Driven by a passion for dentistry instilled in him at a young age by his grandfather, he is committed to mastering the latest advances in dental technology and sharing them for the benefit of his patients.
Tanner is a member of the Academy for Sports Dentistry, Christian Medical & Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and American Dental Association. When he is not in the office, he enjoys coaching youth and high school lacrosse, snowboarding, fishing, attending local high school, college and professional athletic events, and spending time with his family.

Our experienced friendly team is made up of administrative, assistants, hygienist and doctors. The team has been treating our communities for over 100 years of combined experience. Team members live in our communities including, Minford, Lucasville, Wheelersburg, Portsmouth, Piketon and Sciotoville. We understand the needs of our patients and care about the people we see everyday in our communities.
Administrative Team

Chair-side Assistants
Friendly, Knowledgeable and Caring are terms you can use to describe the Chair-Side assistants. trained in technology and expanded function duties they will be guiding you from you entrance to the practice to the time treatment is complete.
Hygienist
Our preventative care program is run by our hygienist with over 80 years of combined experience. They will complete your cleaning appointments and take care of your gum and bone tissue needs. Ask them about how to make your teeth whiter, your breath smell better and home care routines.
